An on-premise bakery and café. Instead of splitting the space conventionally into a front retail and rear kitchen configuration, we divide it longitudinally with a continuous counter. This enables passersby and patrons to witness the baking, creating a twin tableau of production and consumption. The main interior finish and millwork material is wood reclaimed from old New York loft buildings.
